When actress Jennifer Haydon learns of her sister's death, she takes responsibility for raising her 2 year old nephew, whose father, Richard is missing in action in Vietnam. Because Richard's nefarious brother is also trying to get custody of the boy - and his fortune - Jenny enters into a marriage of convenience with handsome doctor, Bradley Maxwell, and moving to the desert town of Desert Winds in California. Brad and Jenny have many challenges trying to make their marriage work but ultimately triumph.
