"Miranda," Rafael said through clenched teeth, "I beg of you, do not drive me too far!"

Rafael was annoyed. No woman of his own nationality had looked at him in quite that way before. Had she no respect - this girl from England! Did British women consider themselves the equals of men?

But Miranda Lord wished she hadn't come to Mexico or become involved with the Cueras family. Only then, of course, she wouldn't have met Rafael!
