Bride by Candlelight by Dorothy Eden
Julia had gone all the way to New Zealand to marry Paul Blaine before she realized she was caught in a web of evil and hidden violence. There was something different about Paul, something that frightened and disturbed her -- all centering around his dead brother Harry. There was a strangeness about his family too, and about Dave Macauley -- who couldn't have been the sheepherder they said he was, and who seemed inordinately anxious to send Julia home.

And then "things" began to happen -- threatening notes slipped under her door, eerie sounds she couldn't identify, little "accidents" that weren't really accidents...

There were questions Julia couldn't answer -- until the night she found herself alone in an empty house, knowing that Death would soon be riding side by side with Dawn...
