Change For Love

Jarek is 500 years old. He’s tired of the hunt. Tired of the thousands upon thousands of short term lovers he has seduced. He longs for a lover to call his own who will pass the rest of eternity by his side and in his bed. So why was he here? Why attend his father’s masquerade party when most of the guests are vampires he’s had at one time or another. Boring! But then he saw a gorgeous, yet fragile human that looked so out of place that Jarek wanted to scoop him up and tuck him in his pocket forever.

Georgie couldn’t believe his best friend talked him into coming to this masquerade party. He’d just gone through his chemo yesterday and was feeling worn down and sick. But less than half an hour after arriving at the mansion, he found himself drawn to a mysterious man that seemed to float through the crowd. His mask was intriguing, but Georgie kept losing sight of him and was beginning to think he might not even be real. It wouldn’t be the first time his meds had produced hallucinations.
