When Tara moved back to her childhood home to help look after her family farm, she was secretly relieved.

She fought her whole life to be free of the constraints of rural living, moving to California as soon as she turned 18. Six years later, Tara realizes that her California dreams were dashed and returns to her hometown. A lot had changed since she left, most notably the formidable horse ranch on the next property over.
