She is stranded on the side of the road. It is 2001 and she cannot afford to get the car fixed or pay for a new one. In exchange for his help she will take care of his office work. He is a mechanic and a divorced father of three with weekend and summer visitation. He also is on the verge of losing his business. If he cannot buy the new equipment necessary, he will be forced to close his shop. She is running from an abusive marriage and is not sure that she can love anyone. Her daughter is still recovering as well. Can they work out a relationship together and how will the kids cope?
