“Wait, doctor, is this, uh, wrong?”

“How do you mean?”

“Well, I’ve always been a faithful wife.”

“Oh, I see. Well, the way I see it, I am your doctor, and this is simply a medical procedure. There are no attached emotions. So I don’t think it is, no, but then again, I’m considered progressive amongst my peers.”

“Ah,” Bethany sounded, wondering if there was a subtle jab in there. “Okay, never mind, Jason will understand.”

“Do you require a strong stimulus or a weak one?”

“What?” Bethany replied, drawing a blank.
