The Whipping Girl by Kara Huntington
Anna is the born seventh daughter of a pig farmer and when the local Crown requests she move to the castle and become a Lady in Waiting to Princess Lillian, her family thinks she’s going to have a better life. Anna quickly discovers she is nearly a twin to the princess. Their only telling difference is the color of their eyes. Anna’s are green and the Princess’ are dark blue.

It fast becomes clear the reasons for the Crown’s interest in Anna are not what they seem. Not only is Anna there to serve as a whipping girl, she is to take the place of the immoral princess for all things dark and sinister behind the castle’s walls. So, when rumors stir that there is a threat toward the princess in order to stop her marriage to the crowned Prince of England, Anna is sure her time on this earth is going to be a short one.

Brock hasn’t exactly been the best person to become captain of his father’s pirate ship, having taken only one other ship thus far, which was loaded with sheep. When whispers of mutiny are heard, he thinks his only chance for redemption is to take the up the job of kidnapping Princess Lillian. But when he has to share his quarters with the beautiful, green-eyed captive, he knows this is a game he’s already lost.
