the girl on the train
Sara Mathews
I was late from my daily work at the butchery and felling quite sleepy, actually ten hours of continuous will certainly break you down either physically or mentally. I boarded the train at the New York central and still had to spend nearly two hours before I could reach my dark room. My life had been monotonous, lonely and full of struggles. But still I was moving on hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And that day did come, a girl with deep blue eyes boarded the train and for the first time in my life, my idiot heart was beating fast, for a girl. Without wasting a second, I was busy talking to her. She was quite frank an open sort of girl and during those two hours of journey, the relationship grew quite intimate. When my station came, I was in for a big pleasant surprise that she was also going to the same place as I was. Actually she was going to visit her aunt, whose home was couple of blocks away from my home.
