Captured By The Viking Warrior (Medieval Alpha Male Ancient World Historical Military Romance)) by Scarlett Dane

A lonely, inexperienced college student from a small town... Jenna Fletcher has been time-traveling to medieval England since she was little. Bored and alone on her birthday she decides to take one last trip to the little village of Exham - only to find it in the midst of a fiery Viking invasion.

Captured and unable to make her way back to 2015, Jenna finds herself the focus of the head Viking's attention. Huge, muscular and bristling with brutal masculine power, Eirik the Jarl is a man who rarely hears the word "no". In spite of herself, untouched Jenna is drawn to him in a way she's never been drawn to any man before - and even as she senses his suspicion about her origins.

Will Jenna be able to escape and find her way back to her own time? More importantly, after Eirik takes her for his own - does she even want to?

This story is a 14,000 word short romance that includes graphic adult scenes and language. It is intended for mature readers only.

My belly was tight with desire...and nerves. I knew what was going to happen - I wanted it - but it would be a lie to say the size of the Jarl wasn't causing a certain level of anxiety. He pulled me down onto the bed, not bothering to remove any of his clothes. When our eyes met this time, he leaned in close to my neck and inhaled deeply. I reached up and tried to pull his head closer, desperate for a kiss, but he slipped away from me and refused to let me off the hook.

“Tell me where you’re from, Jenna.”

I could see from the look on his face that he wanted an answer. So I gave him the only one I could:

“I can’t tell you where I’m from.”

“Because,” he pushed one finger between my lips and ran it over my teeth slowly, smiling when I bit down on it gently: “you’re not a peasant, not with these teeth, not with this skin like cream, and you’re not from Exham.”
