Portia Greiner is on a road trip with her cousin Crystal and her best friend Tommy, who have organized a quick excursion in an attempt to lift up her spirits. Her wounds still fresh from the nasty breakup, she is in an equally nasty mood.

Their car breaks down somewhere in the Sonoran Desert, and unable to take Portia's carping, they leave her by the car while they sought for help.
