Pride & Tentacles by Stikki Minaj, Gen Géricault
It is a truth extra-dimensionally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of tentacles must be in want of a mate.

But what about what I want?

I always thought the family curse was a silly superstition my mother told herself to feel better over the loss of so many husbands.

Don't fall in love, Rosaleen! We're cursed!

Don't go out on the full moon, Rosaleen! We're cursed!

Don't drink milk, Rosaleen! You're cursed!

Okay, so Mama Surreal had been right about my lactose intolerance. Big deal. She couldn't be right about everything .

After finding happiness in the arms--and tentacles--of Phillip Kräken, I was sure the curse was nonsense.

I hate it when Mom is always right.

The Surreal Sisters are a family hopelessly tangled up in paranormal mischief. Each Surreal Sister has her own story arc. You can start with any of the sisters, but reading the books in order sure is fun.
Pride & Tentacles is book two in Rosaleen Surreal's arc. You might enjoy it more if you read Tall, Dark, and Slender first.
