North Platte Ranch by Drew Hamilton
JJ Hall had the worst time deciding what to do with his money when he won the lottery. He did what most winners do, he bought a house, but chose a modest one. He purchased a couple of cars and built a new house for his folks. He took a calm and measured approach with his decision on how to invest his winnings. JJ wasn’t really the type to invest in something boring and sit on his ass all day checking a website to see how his portfolio was performing.
Farming was in his blood, he grew up on a farm in western Kansas and buying a ranch seemed both sensible and kind of romantic. The romantic part was more than a feeling than anything. After fifteen years of living in the city, he was ready for wide-open spaces and fresh air. He investigated numerous ranches in the western United States and eventually settled on a nice spread in Wyoming.
The North Platte Ranch was perfect, with a panoramic backdrop of the Haystack Mountains, abundant wildlife, a river and best of all, a hot gay foreman. He wholeheartedly agreed with Jake Sudduth’s plan to transition the cattle herd to an all grass-fed operation.
JJ wanted to get to know Jake better, but his foreman had a better idea, even though it turned out to be unconventional…
