Stepbrother: If I Die Young by Angelina Paige
After the passing of her mother, seventeen-year-old Hana Maddox is forced to live with her father, Matthew, and her stepmother, Regina. She arrives prepared to ignore everyone, counting down the days until graduation, but when she meets Regina’s son Nathan Mirador, a handsome player, everything changes. In the ninety-eight days that is second semester, Hana also meets Nathan’s ex-girlfriend Erin, Roger, Jasper, and Leo, a group of wealthy, irresponsible teenagers who drag Hana through adventures of romance, parties, and mistakes. Sometimes Nathan joins in, choosing when to show his overly confident, charismatic attitude or his sweet, caring side especially to Hana. However, sometimes he wanders off, a big problem for Hana and Erin who’s confident she’ll get Nathan back. Nathan, disappearing often, is still guilty over what happened to his late friend, Rhea, during an accident that changed his life. As she grapples with her feelings for Nathan, Hana must face serious challenges in her own life.
