Flaming Cocktail by Javier Fabra
“… you’ve shown me there is more to life than fighting. I want to be with you, Daniel.”

Daniel is a gay bartender who has just started work at a popular nightclub called the Flaming Cocktail. However, he gets on the bad side of the club’s hired muscle, Leon Sears. The handsome if no-nonsense bouncer has little patient for the klutzy new bartender. The soft-spoken bartender and macho bouncer immediately clash. However, Daniel comes to respect Leon when the bouncer rescues him from a homophobic group of men.

Recovering his strength at Leon’s place, Daniel sees another side to the taciturn man. He sees the kindness in his heart hidden by Leon’s gruff personality. The man had given up an opportunity to become famous in order to protect the ones he loves. The bartender learns of the bouncer’s fierce loyalty to the Flaming Cocktail and his family. However, the tragedy of Leon’s past dominates his present.

Can Daniel heal his pain, even for one night?
