Echoes After Midnight

Isabelle was a private woman, so private that she never really had seen anything past the house. Her father never really cared about her after her mother died giving birth to her, but she loved him just the same and would do anything for him.

Suddenly, Isabelle finds out that her father had agreed to marry her off to the Earl of Devonshire, a hated man with a hard heart. Everyone knew it was he who had pushed his own wife into depression, causing her to jump to her death some time ago.

She didn’t want to be married to him, but didn’t have any other choice. She knew that this was just another business deal for the Earl in order to produce an heir.

What she didn’t know, however, was that she would be facing a different kind of struggle, a supernatural kind, when she finally stepped inside his world.
