28-year-old Olivia Wood lost her father, landed in a frightening pile of inheritance, and fled Australia on a one-way air ticket in the opposite direction of reality, spurred on by a whim to execute a girlhood dream.
Landing on Prince Edward Island, Canada's tiniest province, she sets about securing a decommissioned storybook lighthouse on the north shore, recently tossed out to public sale, along with 1,000 other beacons across Canada.
