Gia’s life was as close to perfect as she could imagine. She had a great job at a law firm doing the accounting books and she even had a boss that she could fawn over. It was perfect, until she got into her car one night after work and heard a voice behind her. There was a murderer running loose in the city and he was now in the back of her car, ordering her to drive to a closed park at the edge of town. Gia refused and her fate was meted with a sharp, painful bite to her neck. As the life drains out of her, Gia sees her boss Scott coming out of the office and running towards her before everything turned black.
Scott couldn’t believe his eyes and when he saw Barlow run off into the night, he knew that he had done something to Gia. It was only when he opened the door and saw the bite mark that he knew he had to do something and fast. Scott had admired Gia for several years and though he hated to, he changed her into a vampire with his own blood to save her. Scott doesn’t know how she will react, but he is willing to do anything to make her happy and maybe even qualm his guilt for forcing her into a new life. Will Gia be able to forgive him or will she be trapped forever by his actions?
