Talk Nerdy To ME: Death and The Vampire by Ray Watkins
I'm dateless, and since I live with some of the most beautiful women in the world it's almost impossible to get anybody to even give me a glance. On top of that I'm still trying to repair my relationship with everyone after betraying them. If that wasn't bad enough, I keep ogling Grim and Penny. Grim makes perfect sense. He's tall, muscular, and a real sweet guy deep down (way deep down), but Penny? I've never felt that way about another woman before, and Penny isn't just any woman. She's a VERY possessive vampire...and Grim's lover. I mean she's basically a really sexy Hannibal Lecter. So I'm lonely and drooling all over myself every time I get near those two. This can't possibly end well.

To make matters worse The Darkness is coming...

They've been keeping vampires, werewolves, and all other things that go bump in the night secret for centuries. They are vicious, evil, and they have set their sites on us. I'm just a chubby girl trying to get an occasional date, and have as close to a normal life as possible when you live with a sociopathic vampire, a lesbian werewolf and her cheerleaderesque girlfriend, a slutty ghost nun, a goth witch, and of course the horseman Death. Is that too much to ask?

Apparently it is because The Darkness doesn't leave survivors...they leave examples.

Author note: This book was originally the first half of Midnight Squad: The Ties That Bind. Due to complaints about length (over 600 pages) the book was broken into two separate books. This is book one of two.
