When Meredith finds herself locked in a doorless, windowless room with a video camera trained on her every move she isn’t quite sure what to make of it. Her confusion is soon made worse when a strange looking creature appears before her explaining that she has been selected to marry the king of planet Kalar.
Bewildered by her abductors insistence that she never be permitted to return to the planet Earth, Meredith takes matters in to her own hands. As she stands up against the Kalarian king, Meredith stuns the entire court with her rebellion and forces the king to propose an offer she can’t refuse.
When the king offers Meredith the chance to return home if she is not satisfied after one night with him, she jumps at the chance for freedom. But will she be able to walk away after spending one night with the Kalarian king? Or will he find some way to make her stay?
