Unwilling to sacrifice his own happiness, he attempts to walk away, but finds the beautiful child haunting him.

Howard Fritter has stood up against his spiteful ex-wife Clara and now gained visitation of his two young children. With life finally looking up he feels confident in his decision to remain with the love of his life Mark and urges them to inform their lifelong friends of the news. He puts his fears behind him, purchasing the lovers a quaint home and encouraging a new life for them both. Howard follows Mark as he ventures to Amanda’s home once more, pleading with her to allow him to be a part of his son’s life. He watches in horror at the cruelty of this woman, turning him away as he stood sobbing on her doorstep. Once Mark departs, Howard confronts Amanda and she finally agrees to allow him visitation despite her negative feelings for their relationship choices. Now the two lovers face their greatest challenge yet, openly admitting their love among friends and family. Will their childhood peers accept their decision or will they sacrifice even more for the sake of true love?
