I DO...25 Years Later: When A Military Adventure Leads To An Easter Elopement! by Susan Braxton
JUST DO IT! -- "What a joyous, refreshing look at a couple who got it right. No philology 101 here about how to keep a marriage strong, just two people who decided to "Just Do It." The Lewises' faith, their commitment to one another, their grasp of balance between work and family; their understanding that two become one, yet the identity of neither needs to be lost -- is the framework for marriage longevity. As you read through the book, you'll smile, laugh and be awed by their common sense approach and dedication to each other and their family. Must Read! J. RIDDLE, Sr. Pastor and Retired Air Force

HEART-TOUCHING! -- "A beautiful story and most worth-while undertaking! It is spirit-filled and so heart-touching. I view this book as a meaningful tool for married couples." Dr. J.C. PROFIT, Living Legend Recipient, National Urban League

EDUCATIONAL FOR YOUNG COUPLES -- “Humorous, enjoyable quick read! Educational for young couples” S. B., Retired Para-professional Educator

EXCERPT:

My question I pulled out says: What Is A Favorite Year Or Event That Sticks Out? Well, for me, that could be 25.

(wifey)
25 as in what? (confused face)

(hubby)
25 individual years or events because I can think of some favorite event each year of our marriage!

(wifey)
Awe ...(chuckles)

(hubby)
I would say ...'98, our 10th year of marriage. That was a very good year! We were excited coming up on a milestone of 10 years, so we decided to contact a travel agent and book our cruise. We paid the downpayment and were so excited and looking forward to it. In between that time we found out a stowaway, our unborn son would be coming along -- wifey was pregnant which made the anniversary trip even more exciting!

(wifey)
Something was in the oven! (LOL)

(hubby)
That year was very exciting for we did a lot of things, the cruise...

(wifey)
Yes, everyone was worried because they thought I would have morning sickness or be unstable being on the water but it turned out I did great!

(hubby)
During our 10th year, 1998,transitioning into 1999, our son was born. I'll just say '98, our 10 year was a favorite year for me!

(wifey)
1999, 11th year was also the beginning of Malinda, our daughter's acceleration with school, right?

(hubby)
Right.
