The Carver's Magic

Amber Line's snarky bartender, Shane Carver, has a fulfilling, singular life. That is, until his past skeletons creep back in his life one at a time. It all starts with a sweet, shy bar patron who piqued his love interest and tempts him to break his one rule: No dating humans.

Beth is getting a little tired of watching her little sister, Cory, swoon over Amber Line's smart-mouthed bartender, Shane. And if that wasn't enough to make her hate this bar, then seeing her high school crush walk in and give her dirty looks all night is enough to make her want to burn the whole damn building down.

Oh but it gets worse, her sister somehow gained the attention of some serious magic users whom plan to use her to get back at Shane. Beth has to find a way to save her sister, refrain from maiming her old high school crush, all the while finding a way to work with Shane, who inadvertently put her sister in danger.

Beth and Shane have to put their differences behind them and fight together, or lose Cory to their enemies.
