Deep in the remote mountains of Northern California a wolf has been spotted for the first time since 1924. It has been close to 100 years since the wolves populated the Klamath Mountains, and rumor has it the wolf is looking for a mate.

Life has been tough for me as a big curvy woman in this podunk town. Men like to use me and go back to their skinny girlfriends. I have big dreams of getting out, but something keeps me in these mountains, and I can feel something good is headed my way. My grams died this year and she always talked about the wolves. Now that one has returned I know I have to seek it out. Good thing there is a hunky new wildlife biologist in town to take me out into the wild!
