Don't Leave by Jennifer Sucevic
In the first novel, Stay, Cassidy and Cole fell in love and bonded over their shared love of hockey. With his golden whiskey colored eyes, dark shaggy hair, and dimples to die for, not to mention those washboard abs, Cole is everything Cassidy never expected to find. And he just so happens to be one of the nicest guys she’s ever met. Sharing the ugly details of her past was difficult, not to mention embarrassing, but with the help of her therapist, Cassidy finally trusted him enough to do it.
Just when her relationship with Cole couldn’t feel more perfect, someone from Cassidy’s past unexpectedly shows up at Western shaking her to the very core. Luke Wellington is the guy who saw her at her very worst last year. And he’s the one person who can completely ruin all the painstaking progress she’s made this semester.
But Cassidy isn’t the only one who has someone from the past all but crashing into their future. Cole’s ex-girlfriend, Jackie, is back in town and she’s here to stay. Once upon a time, Jackie and Cole were best friends and first loves. Jackie may have hurt Cole but they have a lifetime of friendship and memories that are almost impossible to compete with.
As life once again spirals out of control, the one person Cassidy has come to trust and rely on at Western turns out to be someone she’s no longer able to turn to for help when she needs it the most. Cassidy is just beginning to realize that telling Cole about her past was the easy part. Working through all the issues now standing between them could actually end their relationship.

Don’t Leave is the second novel in the Stay Series but can be read as a stand alone. If you are interested in how Cassidy and Cole first got together, please checkout Stay.
