My Stepbrother's Promise by Roxy Callahan
True Love is Never Taboo

I was thirteen the first time I kissed my stepbrother Aidan--not just kissed him but really kissed him.

We had met the year before, and less than twelve months later we were brother and sister. But that wasn't nearly as important as the fact that in that one year we became best friends. Then puberty hit, and we kissed, and things changed. It scared us, so I made a promise: We would French kiss if we both reached eighteen and had never French kissed anyone. It worked. We were able to push temptation into the future.

And then we were eighteen, and we kissed again, and things changed even more. My brother made a new promise: If we graduated from college and we were both virgins we would lose our virginity to each other. It was a silly promise, one that may have worked for thirteen year olds but not young adults. But over the next four years, the promise has always been in the back of my mind. Even as it pushed temptation into the future, the promise itself remained a constant part of my present.

But now the future is here. Aidan and I have both graduated college, and as to the promise, I wonder if Aidan remembers it.

I hope he remembers it.

But will he?

A stepbrother romance book unlike any other. My Stepbrother's Promise is a roller coaster ride of what it would be like to fall in love with someone who is more than your best friend.
