Delilah: Should She Give Her Heart to the Flirty Sheriff? by Libbie Wheeler
The year is 1880 and Delilah Ford has been living in a hospital for two years, studying and working to become a nurse. Lately though, her dream of being a nurse isn’t as strong as her desire to be a wife and mother.

By chance, she meets Miss Snowden and is introduced to the idea of being a mail order bride. Delilah’s friend, Suzy, tries to talk her out of writing to Wiley Simkins, a sheriff in Texas, but she’s made up her mind. How else is she going to meet a man when almost every waking hour is spent at the hospital?

Wiley wants a wife and children and invites Delilah to come to Texas so he can court her properly. Delilah moves into his sister’s house and Rachel is like the big sister Delilah has always wanted.

Wiley is a good man, but can Delilah trust him with her heart, when other women in town clearly want him too?
