Young, single mother Diamond experiences an unimaginable heartbreak that she doesn't feel she will ever recover from until she meets Blick. He's fresh out of a relationship with someone that makes him feel unappreciated and while his guard is up he's drawn to Diamond like a magnet. Blick wants to do the right thing but he hates being broke and feeling like less than a man. His journey into the streets shows him why he always avoided that life and shows him that most people aren't who they say they are. The biggest problem is he finds himself bumping heads with the one person that he wants to save.
