A Bride's Hope by Mary Miller
A Mail Order Bride seeks a husband. But how can they fall in love if they have both lied to one another?

Minnie has lost her husband. After the devastating battle of Averasboro in North Carolina, 1865, she feels herself draining of all life. But she must pull herself together…for her son.

Joe is a lonely man living in the countryside of Nevada. His beloved wife of five years was taken from him in a tragic accident. Seven months later, he still mourns with the passion of a man whose heart is nearly broken in half. But he must pull herself together…for his daughter.

Both are in need of healing. They find each other in the Mail Order Bride Service. Could they truly be right for each other, even though neither of them mention in their letters that they have a child, the very reason they are going through with such a scheme in the whole of things?

This is a short-story romance with NO cliffhanger and includes various bonus stories at the end. Enjoy!
