Nathan has just been dumped via text message; feeling depressed he gets drunk. On his way home he encounters a strange Taoist priest, they share many interesting debates throughout the night, but when he wakes up the next morning, Nathan finds that he is fifteen years in the future.
A revolutionary technology enables people to live and work in cyber space. People no longer want or need to drive cars, fly overseas, take drugs, smoke, eat junk food or worry about casual sex, because they can now do all of these things in the digital paradise. This has solved global warming, reduced pollution, and minimized the food wastage. Most importantly, it has enabled true sexual liberation, especially for women, as they no longer need to worry about diseases or violence, everything is now just a matter of mind games.
