Marsha is a full figured, African American, 40 year old woman who is desperate to find a man to marry. Her white friend Sarah has been setting her up on dates with white men who have turned out to be total busts. Some were already secretly married. Some were super cheap. Some only wanted on night stands, and some didn't look anything like their pics. Marsha is now totally frustrated and has told Sarah not to try and fix her up with any more men. In all, she counts nine flops over a two year period accredited to Sarah's blind dates.
Sarah, however has come up with a tenth white guy. Someone she feels is perfect for Marsha, someone she feels will turn out to be the man of her dreams if only Marsha will give him a chance.
Marsha is determined not to date him, but Sarah is just as equally determined to force her into going out with him.
In the end, will the tenth time be a charm?
