Mail Order Bride: Damaged, Abused and Rescued from her Past by Abigail Buckley
**This is a fun Standalone Clean Western Historical Romance with no cliffhangers**

Sally Reynolds was a pretty, young widow who was fresh out of an abusive marriage to her first husband in post-bellum Alabama. Travis Tucker was the son of a miner and Union Army veteran in the gold fields of California. What did they have in common? A desire for true love.
Sally’s first husband had been a notorious alcoholic and the last in the male line of generations of southern plantation owners. For whatever reason, it soon became apparent that she could do nothing right in his eyes. What started as verbal slights and belittling quickly turned into full out physical abuse.
She would never have celebrated anyone’s death, but the truth was that his unexpected passing had offered her a second chance. She had to believe it was all a part of His plan. With this in mind, childless, alone, and with limited options, she took to the newspaper advertisements to see if she couldn’t find a new life with a man who would treat her right. That’s where she found Travis.
He seemed like the kind of man she was looking for. In his notes he was kind, loving and God fearing. But she would only know for sure when they met. So, after a few shared letters, she boarded a west-bound train for the California mountains, in search of the love that both she and Travis so desired. But would it turn out any better than her first try at love? She could only hope for the best and have faith that they indeed would be each others salvation. She would just have to wait and see. Find out just becomes of her as you get lost in this romantic love story, set in the late 19th century!
