The Executioner by Maggie Nash
Madeline Smith and Nicholas Garabaldi have a history. A very bitter history. When a new job sends Maddie on a team building exercise to outback South-Western Australia she hopes it’s just the distraction she needs to help her get over Nick - but it wasn’t to be. Little did she know that Nick was the new CEO of Gryffin Technology and her new boss and he has every intention of getting her back, whether she wanted it or not.

The “Survivor” type camp is very grueling for all of them, and at first Maddie manages to avoid Nick, but after one of the campers ends up missing he decides to stick to her like glue despite her protests. When another camper is found dead, it looks like sticking close to Nick might be a good thing after all.
