The Fling (The Wedding Collection) by Elda Minger
When fate steps in and a wedding goes wrong, true love may be just around the corner!

Kate Prescott's cousin, Patti, is jilted at the altar. Kate, the now non-maid of honor, decides that Patti's perfectly good, non-refundable honeymoon shouldn't go to waste! On the flight to Hawaii, the two women meet Cherry Jubilee, a showgirl from Las Vegas determined to bag a Maui billionaire. Cherry tells Kate and Patti that she'll teach them how to get exactly what they want. No more being dumped at the altar and humiliated – they're going to play the mating game the way men do!

Ten days on the magical Hawaiian island of Maui, at the luxurious Kelani Resort. What could possibly go wrong? Tropical drinks, surfing and snorkeling, lazing by the pool, gorgeous sunsets, fabulous restaurants, and first-class shopping. Kate is determined to help Patti heal and forget her horrible ex. Kate and Cherry set out to have some fun, dragging Patti along. They're not going to allow her to mope in their fabulous villa by the beach.

Jack McKenna has come home to Kelani to achieve his life-long dream and take the reins of his father's five-star resort. But first his father has a challenge for him. For ten days, Jack must work a variety of jobs at the resort, acquiring first-hand knowledge of what his future employees go through every day. If Jack completes this assignment, his father will step down and hand the Maui property over to him. Jack agrees and their deal is on!

Kate has decided that men can't be trusted – look at the humiliation Patti went through. Forget commitment. For once in her life Kate's going to step outside her normally staid comfort zone and have some fun. While vacationing in paradise, she decides to have a no-holds barred fling!

Jack is confident these next ten days will fly by, then the Kelani Resort will be his. In the meantime, he needs to be a stellar employee and take care of the guests at his father's resort. And, of course, no high jinks between employees and guests.

And then he meets Kate . . .
