It happened in a time not so long ago. A time before smartphones, personal computers, and reality television. It was a time when wives obeyed husbands, and people didn’t step outside the boundary of their social status.

The affair wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did. Jennifer Wilson was a lonely housewife drinking wine on a Friday night. Brian Hendricks was a poor college student transporting a duffel bag of dirty clothes for a roommate. He found the wrong house, and maybe the wrong woman.

Brian leaves Jennifer’s suburban house; expecting never to return. But an offer of free apartment rent entices him to return to Jennifer’s house for the misplaced duffel bag. Jennifer has questions for Brian; questions that can only be asked outside the presence of her wary husband. Brian isn’t sure how to respond when Jennifer provides her phone number. Time passes, and Brian suffers heartbreak from a failed relationship with a fellow student. In desperation, he calls Jennifer for help.

Over the course of a long weekend, Jennifer bares body and soul asking for nothing in return. When she makes a startling confession Brian must confront the reality of their relationship.

This full-length novel contains mature themes and language. Intended for 18+ readers only.
