Sing a Song of Love by Sian O'Grady
In the last year her marriage had ended and her career as a back up singer had taken a hit. It didn't feel like things could get any worse.

So in an attempt to get her life back on track, Jess heads up to her parents holiday house to clear her head. She has an audition pending which she doesn't want to stuff up. On offer is an opportunity to tour with an up-and-coming Scottish band.

While on holiday she is introduced to Mack, and like a fork in a road, her life changes direction. He restores her faith in herself and who she is.

After she returns to Auckland she never expects to see Mack again. Instead Jess focusses on her audition and things are looking up when Mack crosses her path again. It turns out that he is the High Land Boys manager!

Jess takes the gig with the proviso that things stay on a professional footing.

The next six weeks are a challenge as they balance working together with their undeniable attraction. They eventually find a working solution but as the tour comes to an end it becomes harder to tolerate.

Will love win out over the obstacles standing in their way?
