Dante by Jessi Talbot
In Vegas, they say the house always wins but sometimes, if a girl is real lucky, she gets to hit the jackpot.

Dante

I’m in charge of my best friend’s casino while he’s off enjoying his honeymoon, but I don’t like being in charge. I prefer being the muscle, the go-to guy that takes care of business. It was that way with the Bratva. It was that way with the military. It’s that way now, but the business I need to deal with now is more of a pleasure.

The gorgeous woman I’ve had my eye on needs my help. She wants me to pretend to be her boyfriend so her idiot ex-fiance knows she’s moved on. It’s a simple job that’s not so simple because I don’t want to just pretend. I want to be the real deal. Unfortunately, someone from my past has tracked me down and he’s hungry for revenge. If he finds out how important Olivia is, he’ll use her to get to me so I have to keep her at a distance, pushing her away when all I want to do is pull her closer.

Olivia

I’ve had my eye on Dante since my first day at Sinsations. In my defense, the big handsome Russian is kind of hard to miss. But admiring and drooling from afar is all I’ve done. After all, he’s a hot bad boy with a shady past… and I’m just me.

But now I need his help and it turns out that desperation (along with generous amounts of alcohol) is all that’s needed to ask for that help. The job? Pretend to be my boyfriend for a few days. The problem? I want to do a lot more than pretend, but Dante has a problem of his own. An enemy from his past has a score to settle and Dante thinks the only way to keep me safe is to keep his distance. It’s a good plan, except I don’t like it. So I’m going to show this big bad Russian the safest place I could ever be is in his arms.

Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18. No cliffhanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA.
