Under The Covers by Max Q. Baker
When I met Bo at the gas station, in that silver mini Cooper of hers, the chemistry was instant. I was sure her jokes, smiles, and casual touches were too flirtatious to be a coincidence. In fact, that girl was the answer to my prayers and the source of my greatest personal motivation.

But Bo was unavailable. And out of my league. Even her weird friends were out of my league. Hell, her SmartPhone was out of my league.

Undaunted, like the dumbass fool I was, and with my slight bit of ego and light-hearted swagger, I started to hang with them anyway.

That's when the sexual tensions got steamy, and jealousies started making us act all kinds of crazy, and unpredictable-like.

I wanted Bo but she was with Ryan. Mags got her body on me good. And Robby wanted Mags. Amane wanted Robby, but no one wanted poor Amane. Chris was just weird, and quite possibly a serial killer, if his shoes were any indication.

Bonds were formed, and deadly cracks discovered. Our friendships changed and grew. Some were lost. Despite our surface playfulness, in the end, it was under the covers, our unspoken words, which mattered most.

Love. Forgiveness. Compassion. Revenge.

My journey was my pursuit of Bo, but the joys and sorrows of what we gained, and left behind, was my story.
