Unspeakable by Laura C Walden
Daisy is orphaned at the ripe old age of five after witnessing the brutal murder of her mother. She barely escapes that night with her life, scarred both physically and psychologically. Her wounds are deep and lasting. She is unable to speak of the terrible night, unable to vocalize her fears nor is she willing to describe her mother's killer.

Angel, an orphan himself, left on a local church's doorstep, is the opposite of his name. He finds himself released from prison for a crime he didn't commit, with a new job and a new apartment and is determined to clear his name.

When Daisy and Angel meet, sparks fly. There is chemistry between them that both want to deny, but the connection is too strong to fight. Despite everyone's advice and warnings, the come together, uniting on every level.

Daisy appears on TV promoting her business, "DAISY'S", which is a shop she opened and filled with her stained glass art work. What should have been some free advertisement turns into a nightmare as her mother's killer recognizes her and the hunt is on.

With the help of her adopted family, the Reece's, who own Z. Z. Cops, Daisy and Angel fight for their lives as well as their love.
