Out of the Game (Game For Love Universe)

On her first day as the only woman orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff of an NFL team, Dr. Sydney Nelson locks horns with Isiac “Mac” Maguire, defensive coordinator for the San Francisco Outlaws. Her plan of treatment for an injured player doesn’t meet with his approval. She wins but has she made an enemy of the man local reporters call a cross between Denzel and Channing and who Sydney finds intriguing in spite of their disagreement?

Mac Maguire is totally focused on his team. He warns women he dates that he doesn’t do serious and he doesn’t stay overnight. And he never hooks up with someone he works with. Then the beautiful Dr. Nelson goes toe-to-toe with him over Cole Taylor’s dislocated shoulder. She doesn’t crumble in the face of his intimidation tactics and seems to care as much about his players’ health and safety as he does. Could he break his rules for her?

If they can get over their initial meeting, Mac and Sydney might have a chance to connect off the field and find a happily-ever-after that’ll make both of them winners.
