Rescuing the Bridesmaid by Stella Hunter
This damsel in distress doesn’t want to be rescued.

A reluctant damsel in distress.

Joanne Johnson would rather drown her sorrows and wallow in her self-pity for a while longer before putting the memories of her cheating ex-fiance behind her. Unfortunately for her best-laid plans, sexy tow truck driver Nate Whitmore won’t take no for an answer.

An accidental meeting.

A wild night at her friend’s bachelorette party leaves Joanne in no condition to drive home. When Nate discovers her asleep in her car in a Nashville parking lot the next morning, his protective side can’t stand the thought of leaving her to fend for herself. Offering to take her and her car home is the gentlemanly thing to do, after all.

Instant chemistry.

Nate doesn’t know what he’s in for. As one hilarious mishap after another throws them together, they discover they have more in common than either of them thought. Trying to win back her affections, Joanne’s ex-fiance’s shenanigans backfire and end up causing Nate and Joanne to spend even more intimate moments together.

Is it just a spring fling? Or something more?
