A Kiss for the Fourth by Susan Stovall
Drew Davenport is learning what it's like to go home again. After living in New York City for twenty years, she returns to her childhood home in Maine, where she's determined to overcome the recent loss of her father and keep the family business going. When she finds a letter in the attic, however, that was meant for her twenty years earlier but she never read, she is suddenly overcome with runaway emotions. Added to that, Matt Smith, the one who sent the letter and who was her first love from her high school days, comes back to town on a writing assignment and for the town's annual Fourth of July celebration. Drew is faced with seeing him for the first time in twenty years and must deal with telling him that she'd only recently found the letter. As the holiday fireworks are sparkling overhead, will sparks be flying again between Drew and Matt? Can a simple letter change two lives forever?
