I had been at college for over three years.
Nothing had changed. I wore the same clothes, hung out with the same nerds. That was my life, until I got a phone call saying that there was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I had to go out there and start making real friends; that was the hard part. The hardest part was coming up with a boyfriend, too.
After weeks of learning how to put make-up on my face, and to dress like a girl and not someone who just stepped out of the cemetery, I was ready to face the music. I never knew that it would involve finding out that Sean was about to be my stepbrother or, even worse, that I was expecting his baby.

I never even knew that she was in my class, let alone that we were at the same college. She’d begged me for help. I’d had my head in the game so much lately that I hadn’t been studying. When she said that we should do an exchange, it felt natural. I thought that I might have a chance at graduating college. I saw what Cece looked like when she didn’t wear black. She started to stand out, not only ’cause she’s so damn smart, but a killer body too. Her body beats all the damn cheers hands down. We got carried away with our fake relationship, but we had to figure something out, because everything was about to change. Not for the better, but for the worse.
