Avery has issues. A former beauty queen with a low self-esteem stemming from her overbearing mother, Avery has trust issues in every aspect of her life. Not understanding unconditional love, Avery is in for the lesson of her life courtesy of one Nathan Picceli.

Nathan is a football player. Graceful, talented, and of course gorgeous. Meeting Avery was not in the plan his senior year. The emotionally shut off girl with the beautiful eyes that haunt his dreams, he has to know her regardless of what everyone thinks.
