Living Like Brooklyn

Jake has spent most of his life stuck in a small town in Wilmington, North Carolina with his controlling parents and nothing to do. The only people who have kept him sane are his two best friends Cole and Samantha. Jake and his friends have just graduated high school and they plan on spending one last summer together before Jake and Samantha leave for college in California where the two plan on making their budding romance official. Jake is finally going to leave his small town behind and start a life with sweet and optimistic Samantha.

Then, at the senior graduation party, Jake meets Brooklyn, the mysterious brunette who is different from anyone he has ever met and makes him feel like the change he has been seeking for years can maybe be found right here at home. But appearances can be deceiving. Brooklyn has secrets and her life is more complicated than Jake knows. And the closer he gets to her, the more he lives like her, the more he realizes what he really needs in his life.
