A Clean Western Romance
What happens when a mail order bride has an embarrassingly awkward first meeting with the man to be her husband?
Barely getting by as a hosiery girl in one of the first department stores on the East coast, young woman Cora Sutton doesn’t have her sights set on much. But when she loses her job, and has nowhere to turn, she finds a want-ad in the local paper for a mail-order bride out on the Western frontier.
The only problem is that the gentleman seeking a bride requires a woman of status - and Cora is anything but. Headstrong Cora is always bounding into trouble, and she figures that a few white lies will be worth it in the long run.
And it seems that Cora wasn’t the only one not being entirely straightforward in the proposition. The new start Cora wanted doesn’t go exactly how she planned, but it might be just what she needed.
This is a short-story romance with NO cliffhanger and includes various bonus stories at the end. Enjoy!
