As the title suggests, Maybe is a psychological romance which explores the concept of probabilities from a very peculiar point of view. What if Gatsby were an outrageously stubborn woman? What if she fell in love at the worst time in her life, with the wrong person, in the wrong place? These questions may seem to provide a classical setting, but the profoundly human and therefore disturbing way they are answered, makes this story stand out as either a case for the mad house or an undeniable proof that love never fails. The reader plunges straight into the most private thoughts of the main character, who challenges both herself and us to accept that everything is possible. But is it really? If you are searching for hope and peace, this novel will prove you that if you dare to be fully honest with yourself, no matter how hurtful this may be at times, you can break any chains.
