Naughty or Nice (A Short Story)

Almost a year after Samantha Darling caught her fiancé cheating, she wonders whether being nice is worth the heartbreak. So after one too many peppermint cocktails, she decides to give naughty a try. Come morning, a hungover Sam wakes up at the scene of her vandalism, finding herself face-to-face with the rich and sleek Nathan Snow. Nathan is definitely not nice, and certainly not sentimental about Christmas, but he makes Sam a deal: if she can help him win the town’s annual holiday competition, he won’t press charges. Sam is determined to win the contest and kindle Nathan’s lost holiday spirit. But will fate leave it at that? Or, are these two in for another Christmas surprise?
