Iman Bowen is an African American backup singer and session artist touring the southeast with a southern rock band. David Lawson is a tech tycoon who has made a living in music sound research and technology. When David conducts sound research at a concern Iman is singing backup for, the two meet and have an instant attraction. The two hit it off at a local show following a concert and soon find themselves tangled in passion.
After a hot night David seems to be falling hard fast, but Iman’s perception is more hesitant based on past experience. As David works to prove his feelings, Iman must work to understand and overcome her own emotions.
