Ruth: A Cowboy by Christmas: Clean Western Historical Romance by Libbie Wheeler
Ruth has lived with her Aunt Kate ever since her parents died. Although her aunt has her working from sunup to sun-down, at least Ruth has a roof over her head. But then, one of Aunt Kate’s male friends, Hank, tries to take advantage of her. Luckily for Ruth, her best friend, May, connects a frying pan with the side of Hank’s head and saves Ruth. Hank is storming mad and once he gets out of jail, he’s vowed to seek revenge.

May convinces Ruth that being mail order brides will get them out of Tennessee. So, Ruth and May quickly agree by letter to marry two men in Colorado.

A chance meeting on a train with a handsome cowboy has Ruth wondering if she made a mistake agreeing to marry a man she’s never met.

Outlaws, injuries and danger manage to almost put a stop to Ruth and May reaching their final destination. Ruth’s story takes a few twists, but she ends up where she’s meant to be.
