Ruth has lived with her Aunt Kate ever since her parents died. Although her aunt has her working from sunup to sun-down, at least Ruth has a roof over her head. A chance meeting on a train with a handsome cowboy has Ruth wondering if she made a mistake agreeing to marry a man she’s never met.

Outlaws, injuries and danger manage to almost put a stop to Ruth and May reaching their final destination. Ruth’s story takes a few twists, but she ends up where she’s meant to be.
